CBDRobinas M1 Business Precinct Stock selling fast

An easy-to-access central-city location and high-quality road and rail infrastructure have proved a winning formula for CBDRobina, with subdivisions each enjoying sales runs.

The Automall, home to Signature Tyre and Auto Care, Office King Stationary, Robina Car and Dogwash, and Grande Motors Prestige Mercedes Benz, is just one site from a sellout.

The M1 Business Park, has just five of its 12 sites available.

At the Automall, car industry figure Warren von Bibra is about to expand operations beyond his existing von Bibra Holden dealership, developing two new showrooms and a service centre.

The Automall also is to house Hinterland Toyota in a centre with showroom, administration and service facilities to which it will relocate its Nerang operations.

The M1 Business Park, which houses Robina-Reedy Creek Police Station, has attracted a child-care staff-training facility, Study Solutions which includes two child-care centres,  and The Australian Industry Trade College a federal trade-skills training institution.

Brisbane-based commercial vehicles dealership East Coast Commercials has chosen the park for its Gold Coast outlet.

Also under construction and due to open later this year is the $7 million cutting-edge wholesale seafood facility, Pacifica Seafoods, designed to meet the needs of the Gold Coast region.

The two-storey distribution centre will have about 2000 square metres of floorspace and is under construction on a 2430 square metre landholding on Scottsdale Drive.

The centre is being developed by Comi Investments, associated with Brisbane couple Carmelo and Pauline Comi who have many years' experience in the seafood industry.

It will house their business, Pacifica Trading, which will service hotels, resorts, restaurants, aged-care facilities and seafood outlets and also will distribute regional produce to other centres.

The Automall and the business park are projects conceived of Robina Land Corporation, which has been developing Robina for more than 25 years..

Agent for the projects Marcus Weld, of Robina Marketing Australia, said the take-up of sites was testament to the value businesses placed on well executed precincts in prime locations.

``Location and ease of access were principal considerations in the planning processes for both the M1 Business Park and the Automall,'' he said.

``The growth of the Gold Coast has made these attributes ever more apparent and we are now seeing businesses recognise the strategic significance of  these two precincts."
